മൊണേറ്റ - പൂർവ്വവിദ്യാർത്ഥി സംഗമം (ഗവ:എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജ് തൃശൂർ.)
തൃശൂർ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജിൽ എം.സി.എ വിഭാഗം 35 വർഷം പിന്നിട്ടതിന്റെ ആഘോഷവും പൂർവ്വവിദ്യാർത്ഥി സംഗമവും ഡിസംബർ 23ന് നടന്നു. കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡോക്ടർ സതീഷ് കെ.പി യോഗം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. അതുല്യമായ, ഓർമ്മകളുടെ ദൈവം എന്നീ അർത്ഥങ്ങൾ വരുന്ന ഗ്രീക്ക് പദം മൊണേറ്റ എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒത്തു ചേർന്ന പൂർവ്വവിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും അദ്ധ്യാപകരും പഴയകാല ഓർമ്മകൾ പങ്കുവെച്ചു. വിരമിച്ച അധ്യാപകരെ ആദരിച്ച യോഗത്തിൽ എം.സി.എ വിഭാഗം നേരിടുന്ന വെല്ലുവിളികളും ഭാവി പദ്ധതികളും ഡോക്ടർ സ്‌മിനേഷ് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. യോഗത്തിൽ, ആദ്യ ബാച്ചിലെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയും എക്സ്പെരിയോൺ സ്ഥാപകനുമായ ബ്രജേഷ് കൈമൾ പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. അതിവേഗം മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന പുതിയ ലോക സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിൽ സാങ്കേതിക പഠനത്തിന്റെ നൂതന രീതി ശാസ്ത്രങ്ങളുമായി പൊരുത്തപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്റെ ആവശ്യകതകളും അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വികസനത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യകതകളും ചർച്ച ചെയ്തു. കോളേജ് പൂർവ്വവിദ്യാർത്ഥി സംഘടനയുടെ സെക്രട്ടറി പ്രൊഫസർ മുബാറക് വിപുലമായ ശൃംഖലയുടെ സാധ്യതകൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.
Moneta - Alumni Meet (Govt Engg College Thrissur)
A 35th year celebration and MCA old students gathering were organised at the government engineering college in Thrissur. The college principal, Dr. Satish K.P., inaugurated the program. Old students and retired Professors reminisced about memorable moments when the name of function itself was coined with the Greek word Moneta, a symbol of uniqueness and goddess of memory. Retired teachers were honoured during the program. MCA department head Dr. Sminesh presented the vision, mission, and challenges of the department. 1992 batch student and founder of Experion Technologies, Brajesh Kaimal, shared views on technology learning in the new global order. The college alumni secretary, Prof. Mubarak A.K., presented the opportunities of the college alumni network.
